Is Lexa AI integrated with Egypt's ETA e-invoicing system?
Yes, fully built-in. You create invoices in the required v0.9 format, Lexa submits them to ETA, tracks their status, and stores the UUID + Long ID. No extra setup — just enter your firm's tax data in Settings.
How does Lexa's AI assistant differ from ChatGPT?
Lexa's assistant is trained on Egyptian law (civil, criminal, commercial, family, labor) and understands Egyptian colloquial Arabic. It also reads your case data and can perform real actions — book hearings, update case files, create clients — after your confirmation. ChatGPT is a generic tool that doesn't know your data.
Is my data secure?
Yes. Data is stored in Google Cloud — region me-central1 for geographic proximity to Egypt. All data is encrypted, and we comply with Egyptian Data Protection Law (PDPL 151/2020). Each firm member has separate permissions, and there's a full audit log for every case modification.
Does Lexa work on mobile?
Yes. Lexa is a Progressive Web App (PWA) — runs in the browser without install, or you can add it to your iPhone/Android home screen with one tap from Share. Mobile UX is designed for lawyers who work in courts.
How much does Lexa cost?
There's a forever-free tier for solo lawyers — includes 10 active cases, calendar, and documents (no AI features). Paid plans start at 100 EGP/month and include the AI assistant, Lexa Genius for live web research, ETA invoicing, and member invites. See the pricing page for details.
Do I need training to use it?
No. Lexa is designed for immediate use. On signup, a 4-step intro guide walks you through the platform. And if you need anything, just ask Lexa directly — it explains and acts.
Can Lexa read Arabic documents (OCR)?
Yes. Upload a PDF or image (police report, power of attorney, contract) and click 'Extract Text'. Lexa uses Gemini multimodal to read Arabic text with high accuracy — it's saved with the file and becomes searchable + copyable + analyzable by the assistant.
Does Lexa work for firms with multiple lawyers?
Yes — designed for firms from 1 to 30 lawyers. You invite new members by email, and assign each a role (owner / admin / lawyer / staff) with different permissions. Owner and admin can delete, others can read and edit only — for data safety.
