Refund & Cancellation Policy
How you can cancel your subscription or request a refund for any payment made to Lexa AI.

1. Free plan
The Free plan requires no payment, so no refunds apply. You can delete your account or stop using it anytime.
2. 7-day money-back guarantee
We offer a full refund of any first-time paid subscription within the first 7 days, provided that:
- This is your first paid subscription (or you haven't previously claimed a refund).
- Your AI usage during this period is less than 30% of the plan's allocated quota.
- You submit the refund request in writing to billing@lexaai.io before the 7-day window ends.
3. Outside the 7-day window
After 7 days from the start of your subscription, we do not offer refunds. However, you can cancel anytime — your account will remain fully active with paid-plan features until the end of the billing period. Auto-renewal will be turned off.
4. Automatic renewal grace period
If your subscription was auto-renewed and you cancel within 3 days of the renewal date, AND you have not actively used the platform after renewal, you may request a refund of the renewal payment. This exception covers genuine forgetfulness.
5. Annual subscriptions
For annual plans, the same 7-day policy applies from the payment date. After that, no partial refunds for remaining months are issued, but full features remain available until the end of the paid year, even if you cancel.
6. Cancellation by Lexa AI
In the rare cases where we suspend your service for a Terms of Service violation (harmful content, IP infringement, abuse), no refund will be issued. You will be notified in writing of the reason before suspension.
7. Cancellation by us for technical reasons
If we permanently discontinue a service or feature (e.g., retire a specific plan), we will notify customers at least 30 days in advance and issue a prorated refund for the unused portion of the paid amount.
8. Add-ons (Voice Add-on, Token Top-ups)
Plan add-ons (Voice assistant, additional conversation credits) are refundable within 48 hours of purchase, provided you have not used more than 10% of the add-on. After that, they are considered consumed.
9. Refund methods and processing time
Refunds are issued via the same payment method used originally:
- Vodafone Cash / InstaPay: 3-7 business days.
- Bank transfer: 5-10 business days.
- Fawry: 7-14 business days.
- Credit card (future): 7-14 business days depending on the issuing bank.
10. How to cancel your subscription
You can cancel your subscription in one of the following ways:
- From within the platform: Dashboard → Subscription → click 'Cancel subscription' (fastest).
- Send an email to billing@lexaai.io from the email registered on the account.
- Via WhatsApp: +20 100 086 8667 (support during business days).
11. Your data rights after cancellation
After cancelling, your data is retained for 90 days, during which you can reactivate the account or request a full export (CSV + JSON + files). After 90 days, data is permanently deleted in accordance with Egyptian Data Protection Law 151/2020.
